VNC INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
VNC is a program that allows remote access to another computer. We use VNC to be able to log-in to a client's computer from remote, either from our office OR from our laptop in the field.
VNC is a SAFE program. Your anti-virus program, however, MIGHT pop up a message telling you that it found a problem. I'll work with you to have your anti-virus allow and ignore it.
Begin by downloading VNC by click HERE. You can SAVE the download to your desktop and do the installation later, OR you can click RUN and it will install as soon as it has finished downloading.
The following pictures are what you will see while installing VNC. Just follow these pictures and do exactly as it shows.
After you see this screen, you may go automatically to a web page which you can ignore and close. You will be prompted to allow the installation to restart. Go ahead and click OK and let your computer restart. When it comes back to the desktop, you will see the following screen:
Here you will be prompted to type in a password. You will need to remember
this password AND you need to let ME know what it is so that I can log into your
computer.
